The data concerning genetic and protein markers of thyroid stem cells, as well as markers of their thyroid differentiation, are systematized. Unresolved problems and perspectives of the use of thyroid stem/progenitor cells in tissue engineering are discussed.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>В обзоре представлены данные литературы, касающиеся эмбриогенеза, физиологической и репаративной регенерации щитовидной железы (ЩЖ) в постнатальном периоде в аспекте обоснования наличия в ее тканях стволовых и(или) прогениторных клеток. Систематизированы данные, касающиеся генетических и белковых маркеров стволовых клеток ЩЖ, а также маркеров их тиреодифференцировки.
