News: The journal "Genes & Cells" has changed its publisher and editor-in-chief.

As of February 1, 2023, the structure of the founders of the journal "Genes & Cells" has changed. Along with Genes & Cells LLC (a Human Stem Cell Institute (HSCI, MB: ISKJ) group company, the following will serve as co-founders of the scientific journal:

  • The Yu. M. Lopukhin Federal Scientific and Clinical Center for Physical-Chemical Medicine of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency of Russia (Yu. M. Lopukhin Federal Scientific and Clinical Center for Physical-Chemical Medicine of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency of Russia);
  • and the Eco-Vector publishing house, whose platform will serve as the technological foundation for the updated journal.

Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Biological Sciences Maria A. Lagarkova, has been elected Editor-in-Chief. The editorial board and the HSCI team will continue to collaborate on the journal.

Genes & Cells is a peer-reviewed scientific and practical journal recommended by the Higher Attestation Commission of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation for the publication of the main materials of dissertation research. The journal is included in the leading Russian and international journals. Bibliographic and abstract databases: eLIBRARY, Scopus, Ebsco.

The journal was founded by the Human Stem Cell Institute in 2005 as a scientific information and analytical publication called "Cellular Transplantology and Tissue Engineering" (CTTI) with the purpose of covering the results of biomedical research related to cellular technologies.
